Beyond Patara, Xanthos and Myra, ancient Lycia is scattered with quieter sites. Pınara, Tlos, Sydima and Kyaneai each reveal a different relationship between settlement, mountains and landscape. They are best suited to independent travellers who enjoy archaeology without crowds and are comfortable with slower rural routes.
