The Lycian Way around Kaş
The Lycian Way is one of Turkey’s best-known long-distance walking routes, following the Mediterranean coast through ancient landscapes, villages, forests and mountain paths.
You do not need to walk the entire trail to experience it. Around Kaş, short sections can be combined with a beach day, an archaeological site or a village visit. The route is especially rewarding outside the hottest summer months, when walking conditions are more comfortable.
Good footwear, water and sun protection are essential, and route conditions should always be checked before setting out.
